The 7th. Crater XCO Cup is an UCI Class2 Elite Men & Elite Junior Men MountainBike Cross-Country Olympic event (3th. time as a UCI competition, after 2015 and 2016) scheduled for the 6 July 2019.

Betfia and Baile 1 Mai Resort Forest, Bihor, Romania, 15 km from Oradea (DE-Großwardein, HU-Nagyvarad) an important city in Western Romania, 25 km from the Hungarian border, 180 km from the Ukrainian border and 250 km from the Serbian border.
Close to the Start/Finish Area you can find The fossil point from Somleu Hill and the Betfia Vertical Cave also unoficially called „Crater” by the local citizens. This objectives are Natura 2000 Protected Areas.
In Baile 1 Mai Resort you can find the Thermal Lake with Water Lilys (Natura 2000 Protected Area) – unique in Europe – a natural botanical reserve called Rezervaţia Naturală „Lacul cu Nuferi – Pârâul Peţea” and some another attractions in Baile Felix in the immediate vicinity of the Baile 1 Mai resort. The main points of interest are: the subtropical water lilies which grow in the lakes of the resort due to the mild climate and the geothermal water. For easy acces with the car, follow this route: Oradea – Sinmartin (acces throug the european road E79 – national road DN76) – Baile 1 Mai – Betfia (acces throug the local road DC 59) – Şomleu Hill (acces throug 1 km gravel road) with the Betfia „Crater” Cave.
